Ministry of Content is a publisher. Version 1.0 of the iPhone app lets you read 2048 free, create an account, and order a signed paperback. Digital membership is not sold in this version.

The website shows the catalogue and a free sample of 2048. App Store download links and QR redirects may be logged (browser type and timestamp) so we can compare campaigns. We do not use that log to identify you.

If you create an account, we store your email address and a password hash (for email sign-in) or an Apple account identifier (for Sign in with Apple). Session cookies keep you signed in on the web. The iPhone app stores a session token on the device. You can delete your account in the app or on the website, which removes the account and its sessions. Messages you send from The mission are stored so we can read them; they are removed if they used the same email as a deleted account.

The iPhone app can store reading position, bookmarks, and notes in iCloud on your Apple ID when iCloud is enabled. That data stays with Apple and is not held in our database.

Signed paperback orders collect your name, address, email, phone, and payment through Apple Pay. Stripe processes the payment so the book can be mailed. We keep order details needed to fulfil and account for those purchases even if you later delete your account.
